The research and policy committee met on June 13, 2022 to ensure the COE’s focus on innovative applied research projects that address the ongoing and anticipated challenges within the energy sector is met and is making an impact on Egypt’s energy sector.
The committee includes the Vice Dean of Graduate Studies, deans of engineering EPUs, and COE Team members.
At the beginning of the meeting, an overview of the main goal of the strategic plan and Research Areas were presented by Dr. Sayfe Kiaei followed by an open discussion. This committee will work closely with the other committees to suggest new relevant topics for the curriculum, workshops, seminars, and training programs. The committee will also select the final projects based on the technical reviews and present their final recommendations to the steering committee This committee will also interact with the communication and marketing groups to publicize the research results and interactions with the commercial energy industry and funding agencies.
