Prof. Tarek specializes in turbo machines design and general fluid mechanical engineering problems using CFD codes, as well as side-channel machines and jet pumps, solar thermal engineering, wind energy and nanofluid problems. He earned his Ph.D., from Shanghai JiaoTong University-School of Power and Energy – China and his Master of Science from Faculty of Engineering- Cairo University, Giza, Egypt.
