To stimulate strong collaborations between the EPUs and the GOE, MOHESR, energy industry, and international energy agencies, and to increase the ability of Egyptian universities to generate revenues through alliances with business and international funding agencies. The USAID COE conducted its first sustainable committee meeting on June 15, 2022. The discussion was about how can the sustainable committee identify ways of sustaining the center through developing services and generating funds. Some suggestions were posited such as, Crash courses, Certificate program, Summer training, Testing laboratories, Certificate with warranty.
The committee members agreed that the industrial and governmental regulatory partners should join the future committee meetings and that the committee members should conduct a survey and market analysis to identify the suggestions needed for sustainability
