Dr. Ahmed specializes in modeling and analysis of power electronic converters in power systems, DC power systems, microgrids, motor drives, and renewable energy. He earned his Ph.D., degree (energy systems), from University of Alberta, while he got his M.S., degree (electrical engineering), from Ain-Shams University.
Dr. Ahmed is an Assistant Professor at Ain Shams University, and at the Future University in Egypt as well. He was the electrical power design department head as a consultant. He was nominated for a teaching assistant award, and, for a doctoral recruitment scholarship by the University of Alberta. And he has multiple journal papers.
