D. Ahmed specializes in solar energy applications, absorption cooling, extraction of water from air using solar energy, desiccant dehumidification systems, and water desalination. He earned his Ph.D. in “Renewable Energy”, from the Russian Academy of Science, Institute of high temperature. While his M.Sc. was in mechanical power Engineering “, at Mansoura University, Egypt. Prof. Ahmed is an Emeritus Professor in, mechanical power engineering dept., Mansoura Univ., Egypt. Furthermore, he has previously worked as a consultant in several places. Issued many journals and scientific publications. Plus, he obtained several awards, the latest was the Mansoura University award for scientific creativity.
